Monday, January 11 – Basically Ella: Brushes, 12:30 pm, presented by Rebellious Unicorns, and Unicorns.LIVE ~ Online

Ella kicks off the new year and Season 2 with arguably one of the most important elements of make-up application: brushes. The brush is the most important instrument in your tool kit, and Ella will discuss brush selection and how to keep your brushes tip-top through proper cleaning and maintenance.

Monday, January 11 – Sasha TV: How to Paint a Fantasy Landscape, 3:30 pm, presented by Rebellious Unicorns, and Unicorns.LIVE ~ Online

Hot off the heels of her first season on YouTube, Canadian Drag Queen and Painter Sasha Zamolodchikova welcomes you to Season Two of SashaTV, now LIVE on Unicorns.LIVE! Each season of SashaTV LIVE will be devoted to specific topics and areas of interest; in this season’s episodes, SashaTV LIVE takes a deep-dive into her penchant for art with a live paint series entitled “Feeling Her Fantasy”. These fantasy art tutorials will draw inspiration from Sasha’s art and assist you in creating the reality you crave. Future episodes are set to take shape as a “drag variety show” that includes comedy, cooking, art, music and more!

Tuesday, January 12 – Okanagan Gender Identity Group ~ Online

This is a positive, safe, inclusive, supportive space for, gender non-conforming, non-binary, transsexual, transgender, genderqueer inter-sexed or questioning (or any variation thereof under the rainbow spectrum) people living in or near Kelowna or the Okanagan are to discuss matters and various topics while providing and obtaining peer support.

We meet every Tuesday from 6-8 via Discord.

Wednesday, January 13 – Virtual Drag Bingo at Dorothy’s, 7:30 pm, presented by Rebellious Unicorns, Unicorns.LIVE, Friends of Dorothy Lounge in Kelowna, and Sparkle.

Your Hostess Sparkle will lead you through 3 rounds of virtual bingo, played over 90 minutes. Tune in, enjoy the show, and play from wherever you’re most comfortable. There are plenty of prizes to be won, so register today! The deadline to register is 12:00 pm PST on January 13.

Sunday, January 17 – Transparent Okanagan Meeting, 11am – 1 pm ~ Online

TransParent provides community consultation, advising and advocacy on issues related to families of trans youth. They also operate a peer support network, monthly meetings, guest speakers and a lending library of books, videos and other resources.
