Friends of Dorothy Lounge Press Release

In the past few days, Kelowna has experienced an outbreak of COVID-19 related to the downtown area. The daily increase in cases has caused the owner of Friends of Dorothy Lounge to make some unanticipated decisions regarding scheduled events, namely the long awaited Lip Sync Extravaganza: Amateur Lip Sync Competition. This event is being postponed until the fall.

This is the only event that is being postponed. All other events are going ahead as per usual.

Rudy Tomazic says, “The health and safety of our staff, customers, and potential contestants is of the utmost importance to us.”

We apologize to those who were preparing to compete, those who were to be our guest judges, to our host, and to all the staff associated with this event. We appreciate the time you have spent thus far preparing. Our hope is that you will join us again when we present the Lip Sync competition in the fall.
