Positive Space Workshop
Come join us for a Positive Space Training Workshop on Wednesday, March 4th, in LIB 111 from 2:30pm to 4:00pm!
The Positive Space foundational workshop covers current language, issues, resources, and best practices in an interactive and experiential learning environment. Participants will gain relevant knowledge and skills to use in their academic, work and campus life. LGBTQIA2+ folks and allies welcome!
This valuable and informative workshop is part of the Positive Space campaign. Launched in 2002, the Positive Space campaign is a campus-wide initiative intended to raise awareness and visibility of lesbian, gay, bisexual, two-spirit, trans and queer students, staff, faculty, alumni and allies at UBC.
The aim of the campaign is to foster a welcoming and inclusive environment, respectful dialogue on campus for people of all sexual orientations and gender identities by identifying spaces where sexual and gender diversity is supported and valued.
