‘Clothes Minded’ a Series to Help Trans and Gender Non-Conforming Find Their Look

Partners Fuse, OUTtv and Vice Studios will film eight episodes on location in the US and Canada.

Lucas Silveira and Richie Shazam host the Fuse, OUTtv and Vice Studios co-production as it helps young trans and gender nonconforming people find a unique look to celebrate their true selves.

Fuse Media has boarded the transgender makeover series Clothes Minded as a co-production partner along with Canadian LGBTQ+ TV channel OUTtv and Vice Studios, ahead of an early 2021 premiere on both sides of the border.

Tuesday, August August 18 – Voices Unheard, 7 pm – 7:30 pm, featuring Taysha Jarrett: Autistic, Bi-Gender, and Queer Woman of the LGBTQ2+ Community, presented by Rebellious Unicorns, Unicorns.live, and Kelowna Pride Society, sponsored by Castanet, and hosted by Kanata Hotels

Taysha Jarrett (she/he/they) joins host Jessica Samuels for this episode of Voices Unheard. Taysha is autistic, bigender, and queer; growing up they were bullied and beat up and, according to Taysha, at school the “teachers didn’t know what to do with me.”

Once their Mom stepped in and demanded certain accommodations, Taysha was able to take a moment to study how the rest of the world interacted with one another, learn from them, and began to emulate others’ interpersonal skills.

Taysha and Jessica will discuss these experiences, the tedious process of learning how to blend in, and how at the age of 53, Taysha feels they do a “pretty good job of passing.”

Wednesday, August 19 – Qusic, 7 pm – 9 pm, featuring Terez, hosted by Rebellious Unicorns and Unicorns.live, sponsored by Creative BC, K96.3 Classic Rock, New Country 100.7, and Factor, and hosted by Friends of Dorothy Lounge

Terez (she/her/hers) may be making her original debut releases as a solo artist, but this young pop singer is anything but new to the music scene.

Already with a fan base of over 100K followers, collaborating with influencers like Nicole Arbour, and having performed across North America, sharing stages with heavy hitters such as Keith Urban, Terez is making a mark on her own accord with the release of original music.

With her passion originating from songwriting, Terez uses her music as a platform to discuss topics such as self-love, mental health, and acceptance. Everyone has secrets and unflattering truths; Terez aims to showcase her truth to make fans feel more accepting of their own.

Her deeply vulnerable, and personal lyrics aim to make listeners feel related to and understood, while her pop melodies and dynamic vocals make you want to dance. Terez has more interest in one’s humanity rather than their gender, and looks forward to telling her musical story on QUSIC.
